Our feature has truly exemplified the will to live. She is a beautiful, strong, courageous little girl name Kyssi. Khyrstin "Kyssi" Andrews is a six year old Houston resident who was diagnosed in May 2012 with a rare form of kidney cancer called Wilms' tumor. She has won her battle against this cancer twice, but was diagnosed again in April 2014 and was given a 20% chance of survival.
Recently, Kyssi underwent a stem cell transplant to help her live a long life, but complications came after that. Currently she is in the hospital fighting for her life. Kyssi's will to live has inspired thousands. Her mother Marla has continued to share her daughter's courageous journey through Facebook and other social media outlets. People from all around continue to post positive thoughts and prayers for Kyssi and her mother on their Facebook page - encouraging them both to remain strong and keep fighting. It is amazing how the strength of a six year old that has been fighting cancer for the past three years can inspire so many people she has never met. Kyssi, your will to live is amazing! We are praying for you! Can't stop, won't stop! For updates on Kyssi's uplifting journey visit her Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=534126896613431 By Shemikah Moore
