Being a woman in the 21st century is an elated and exciting time as women have achieved many things, but being a successful black woman today has taken on a whole new meaning. In 1921 Dr. Georgiana Rose Simpson was the first African American woman to receive her PhD and she has paved the way for so many others!
Doc , born and raised Miami, is a self -proclaimed rebellious Afro -Latina -Capricorn born on Christmas grew up in Liberty City. Despite childhood circumstances and environment, Doc preserved and managed to obtain several degrees (bachelor, two masters, and a doctorate).

She is not shy about requiring the acknowledgment of her accomplishment, often verbalizing “heavy on the doctor”. Currently residing in Dallas, TX she realized she has a natural desire to help people, advocate for education & disability awareness, and self -love for women. You can find various posts encouraging women to embrace freedom from societal rules on beauty by being natural and embracing every curve or freckle. Heavy on the natural and self -love! Doc believes that women’s experiences should be celebrated in hopes that women will share and unify different perspectives in opposition to ridicule. Why hate when you can uplift? She is assertive, uncut, unfiltered, and is a pioneer of open vulnerability.
