Be Still

Hello, Loves!!  When I say God has been moving and shaking things up in my life, that is an understatement!
When God has a calling on your life, there are adjustments that need to be made.  It's not going to be comfortable, and it will not fill good at all.  Psalm 46:10 reassures us to keep calm in the process.  One thing for sure, no matter what you go through or what obstacles pop up along they way, know that God is with you every step of the way.  The purge before the promise is necessary.  Not only to get rid of the things that are negative or have been dragging you down in your life, but to strengthen you and prepare you for the life that God has planned for you.
I would like to share a testimony with you about my journey thus far.  God has been dealing with me about moving from my hometown.  I knew I was supposed to move, and it had been on me for a long time.  I had fears of being alone, not being able to take care of my children, and just not being able to live the way I wanted to.  God was always there to tell me that I was never alone, and to trust him.  He reminded me of his word in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Finally I stepped out on faith, and made the move to the DFW area.  God blessed me with a job that is amazing, and apartment that fits my family.  Everything that he told me He would do, He did, and I know He is not done yet!  I had a moment of doubt about being able to take care of the move-in costs when I got approved for my apartment.  I had exhausted all of my financial outlets, and was down to my very last that went into my gas tank that day.  I cried out to the Lord, literally on my hands and knees with my face to the floor, and had a real conversation with him.  "Lord, you said in your word that all things work together for good to those who love you, and are called according to your purpose.  That you would never leave me nor forsake me.  That if I ask you I shall receive.  But Lord, WHERE ARE YOU??  How am I going to get through this, God?  I made this move because you said I needed to.  I don't see how this is going to work!"  And in His still, quiet voice he answered..."Be still, and know that I am God.  I've got you."  The next day I received my paycheck that I thought I wasn't going to receive until the end of that week, and was able to take care of everything I needed to handle, and had extra!
I said all that to say this.  No matter what it looks like, what it sounds like, or what other people are saying about your situation.  Follow God.  Trust God through it ALL, and know that He will see you through.  Will you have doubts, yes.  Will it be hard, yes.  But the REAL conversation you have with God will change everything!  It is not going to happen the way you want it, or in the timing that you think it should happen.  Remember, God's plan and timing will always be perfect.  He is The Way-Maker.  He is The Miracle Worker.  He is The Promise Keeper.  He will NEVER let you down!  All you have to do is follow His instructions, and stay faithful to Him.  Matthew 7:7, say "
Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you."  That, my loves, is a promise from God!

Stay blessed, Queens!
