​Black Nurses Rock of Tyler,Texas secretary Willie Jean Mims is the first African American woman to serve as a board member for Susan G Komen For The Cure in Tyler,Texas. Mrs. Mims has been a nurse for over 30 years and is an active, dedicated member of the NAACP. She is very involved in her community and serves as a mentor for nursing students. History has been made and we salute this wonderful lady!
